Introduced Germplasm From Vietnam:  Documentation, Acquisition, and Propagation

This project aims to document life histories, agricultural knowledge, and gardening practices of Vietnamese immigrants and refugees in the United States, starting with those in Georgia and the Southeast.  It is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture and under the direction of Drs. Robert Rhoades and Virginia Nazarea.  The project will be carried out with prior informed consent from the elders and home gardeners with the assistance of Vietnamese students.
